There are many techniques we use to improve Page Rank (PR) that google will see as possitive steps towards achieving status online. Here are a few of the things google looks for:

  1. The number of external websites linking to the pages on your website.

  3. Whether or not you are linking to external sites with "link farms" present, or too many links!
  4. The number of times a website links to your site without reciprocation. One-way links.
  5. The relevency of the external links pointing to your site to your site's content.
  6. How long your website has been online and what has been the general theme.
  7. How long your domain name is registered for, i.e. 1 year, 2 years, 5 years, or even 10 years.
